Western Downs Regional Council

The Western Downs covers an area of 37,937km², stretching beyond Dalby in the south-east, to Wandoan and Flinton, and encompassing the traditional lands of the Barangaam, Iman (Yiman), Bigambul and Jarowair peoples.

Western Downs Regional Council provides local government services, and works to build and promote a strong diverse economy, active vibrant communities, quality lifestyle and organisational sustainability in our region.
