Shire of Menzies

Menzies is a mining town in the goldfields, 730kms north east of Perth and 132kms north of Kalgoorlie. The Shire of Menzies covers a total area of 125,000 square kms and has annual revenue of approximately $1.4million. There is a total population of approximately 400 people with 150 of those living in town.

With a mix of tourism, agriculture and mining, Menzies has a small, but diverse economy that punches well above their weight. They also have arguably the most iconic tourist attraction in the region; Lake Ballard.
