Merri-bek City Council

In September 2022, the City of Moreland officially changed its name to the City of Merri-bek. Please note for service, financial, governance and management reporting purposes on this site, the council may be referred to as Moreland for the financial years up to and including the 2021-22 financial year and as Merri-bek for the 2022-23 financial year and following years. The 2022-23 financial year data will be released in November 2023.

Merri-bek is located in the inner north of Melbourne, five kms from the central business district. It is culturally diverse, with a third of residents born overseas, mostly in non English speaking countries.
